Apple released a this morning detailing some of the requirements needed to run Windows 10 on Mac, as well as outlining support for features like USB-C, Thunderbolt, Apple SuperDrives, Apple keyboards, mice and trackpads, and built-in SD slots. People who wish to run Windows 10 on Mac will need to update to the newest version of Yosemite to dual-boot Microsoft’s new operating system.
Upgrade from 10.4.11 to Snow Leopard. I plan on purchasing the Snow Leopard online to upgrade from mac os x 10.4.11, what else do I need to make this work properly? Do I need to back up my files? Also, I am doing this in order to have boot camp assistant, will the online upgrade do even if I am planning on installing another OS in my laptop?
Boot Camp, tentatively named, is a collection of technologies made available by that assists users in installing BIOS-based operating systems on -based computers. Boot Camp currently consists of a non-destructive partitioning tool and a image with for Windows.
